Abstract
We calculate analytically the conditions that establish the number of bound states in finite superlattices as a function of the depth, width and separ ation of the wells. We consider a lattice of delta-wells and a set of recta ngular wells. For this latter case, we show how for finite systems the ener gy levels already group together in bands separated by gaps.
