Abstract
The effect of synthesis conditions and starting materials on the phase comp osition and particle size of titanium compounds prepared by reducing titani um hydroxide precipitated and dried in the presence of carbon black is addr essed. The particle size of the intermediate and final products is shown to be determined by the amount of black and the particle size of titania.
