Abstract
One strain of Pseudallecheria boydii (perfect form: Scedosporium apiospermu m) was isolated from a hip with infections osteoarthritis in an immunocompr omised patient. After a careful clinical examination and a detailed patient interrogation, non traumatic portal was detected and it seem likely that r espiratory tract was first involved in contamination before bloodstream dis semination.
