Abstract
An ion chromatographic method using an ion-exchange column for the simultan eous analysis of sulphate and chlorate in industrial salt and sodium chlori de brines has been developed. A mixed eluent of 2.0 mM sodium carbonate and 0.75 mM sodium bicarbonate is used. The effects of various parameters have been reported and critically discussed.
