We have measured the bulk and surface magnetisation and magnetoresistance o
f granular Co10Cu90 ribbons treated with isochronous anneals, from helium t
o room temperature and at high magnetic fields. The magnetoresistance of th
ese materials can be larger than 15% at room temperature and at high magnet
ic fields. We show that interparticle interactions are needed for a complet
