Abstract
The phase structure and magnetic texture of sputtered Nd-Fe-B thin films an d Nd-Fe-B/Fe/Nd-Fe-B trilayers were investigated by Mossbauer spectrometry. A c-axis texture can be obtained in thin films under specific sputtering p arameters. In trilayers, the top Nd-Fe-B layer was characterized by a magne tic texture depending on both the thickness of the layers and the crystalli nity of the alpha-Fe layer. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
