Abstract
A new approach to detect the domain wall resistivity in a ferromagnetic zig zag bent wire is demonstrated. Two different domain configurations are arti ficially created in the zigzag wire by changing the orientation of magnetic fields. A comparison between the resistivities in the two configurations s hows an additional 0.05% negative magnetoresistance related to the domain w alls. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
