Abstract
Co-rich amorphous glass-covered wires and wires after glass removal with sm all magnetostriction are magnetically softer in the axial direction, while Co-rich amorphous fibers have better soft magnetic properties in the circum ferential direction. The obtained results reveal the importance of intrinsi c creep-induced anisotropy in such materials. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V . All rights reserved.
