Abstract
Layered compounds pillared by insertion of inorganic oligomer species can p lay an important role in catalytic reactions due to the presence of acid si tes in micro- and mesopores with high surface area and reproducible propert ies. In this article we present the preliminary magnetic characterisation o f family mixed Fe-Cr oxide pillared alpha-zirconium phosphate materials. Sy stematic measurements have been performed on a pilar with a low Fe/Cr ratio (20/80) doped with Li+ with loading from 0% to 100% of the cationic exchan ge capacity, although all compounds show similar magnetic behaviour, slight and interesting differences are observed across the series.
