Abstract
The magnetic properties of cold deformed Fe60Al40 alloys were investigated. An increase in the magnetic susceptibility was found after deformation. Th ermal expansion measurements in cold worked samples show a volume decrease upon heating at the ferro-paramagnetic phase transition, according to magne tic measurements.
