Abstract
The giant magneto-impedance (GMI), induced magnetic anisotropy, and domain structure of nearly zero magnetostriction Fe3Co67Cr3Si15B12 amorphous ribbo ns have been comparatively analysed. Transverse magnetic anisotropy has bee n induced by stress annealing at various regimes. Samples with similar anis otropy strengths can show very different GMI responses. Hysteretic behaviou rs of the GMI ratio are also reported. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All r ights reserved.
