New compounds of UFe4Al8-xGax (x = 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5) were obtained by induc
tion melting and a single crystal was grown for x = 1.0 by Czochralski meth
od. The characterisation performed by Mossbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffrac
tion and magnetisation measurements indicated a ThMn12-type structure and a
ferromagnetic behaviour for all samples. Magnetisation data evidenced high
anisotropy compounds with magnetic parameters increasing with Ga content.
