The magnetic properties of the T-In2-2xCr2xS4 (T: Fe, Ni, Co) single crysta
ls with spinel structure were studied. The In substitution leads to magneti
c properties characteristic of the following types of magnetic order: spin
glass, reentrant spin glass and ferrimagnetic. A higher concentration of ch
romium produces the reentrant transition and spin-glass state ordering in N
iInCrS4 and CoInCrS4. It is suggested that the magnetic structure of these
two compounds is a result of the competition on the exchange interaction be
