Abstract
The Ln(0.7)A(0.3)Mn(0.9)Fe(0.1)O(3) (Ln = La, Nd; A = Pb, Cd) oxides have b een synthesised using the sol-gel method. Magnetic measurements show that T -c values decrease considerably when cadmium or iron are present and the ZF C magnetization drops to zero at low temperatures. Values of magnetoresista nce around 70% have been obtained. Powder EPR measurements showed that the minimum peak-to-peak width is near to the critical temperature T-c in each sample.
