Abstract
The magnetization vs, field curves of Ba3Cu2O4Cl2 single crystals show a sp in-flop transition at a threshold field of 2.6 T for temperatures below T-N approximate to 20 K and fields parallel to the orthorhombic a-axis. No met amagnetic transition was detected for fields parallel to the b- or c-axis. Above T-N a Curie-Weiss behaviour is found with moments characterized by an isotropic g-factors.
