For a limited range of concentration and pressure the itinerant Co sublatti
ces orders magnetically at T-C(Co) which is lower than T-C(R) of the locali
zed R sublattice. A field-induced collapse of the Co moment as function of
both concentration and pressure is observed and ascribed to an inverse itin
erant electron metamagnetism. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights res
