Abstract
Experimental and theoretical results of the investigation of photoinduced c hanges of magnetic domain structures (DS) inside the irradiated region of a n epitaxial YIG : Co him are given. Domain reconstruction was studied under argon laser light pulses. Velocity of photoinduced magnetic anisotropy (PM A) growth was much faster than PMA decay velocity. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scienc e B.V.
