Abstract
A novel porphryin coordination polymer, (3'-cyanophenyl)[2,3,7,8,12,13,17,1 8-5,10, 15, 20-tetrameistylporphyrinato] rhodium(III) 3, has been synthesiz ed from the intermolecular C-H activation of the reaction of RhCl3 with por phyrin H-2(tmp)(Ph)(8), 1, in refluxing PhCN and the X-ray structure shows a tit-zag chain.
