Abstract
Distribution of signal abnormalities documented by magnetic resonance imagi ng of the brain in an Australian Cattle Dog suspected of having hereditary polioencephalomyelopathy were strikingly similar to distribution of lesions identified at necropsy. Magnetic resonance imaging can be a sensitive tool for the antemortem diagn osis of neurodegenerative disorders in dogs.
