Abstract
Hemodynamic investigation during acute drug test and course treatment with captopril was carried out in 15 patients with NYHA class II - III heart fai lure after myocardial infarction. The study showed that in 40% of patients captopril was not effective because of elevation of total peripheral resist ance and that results of acute drug tests could not be accepted as predicto rs of efficacy of course treatment.
