Abstract
Aortitis with involvement of the aortic valve is rarely associated wit h vasculitis syndromes. We present a patient with antibodies to a neut rophil cytoplasmic antigen-associated (ANCA) vasculitis with renal fai lure who developed aortic incompetence as a result of aortitis which i nvolved the aortic valve. Thickening of the aortic wall also caused st enosis of the left coronary ostium.
