Abstract
Models based on chiral SU(3)(L) x SU(3)(R) symmetry and vector meson domina nce suggest an attractive potential for the omega meson in a nuclear medium . We discuss the feasibility of producing nuclear bound states of omega mes ons using (d, He-3) and pion induced reactions on selected nuclear targets. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
