Abstract
Slow wave propagation in superconducting planar transmission lines is dependent on the materials properties and thicknesses of superconducto rs, dielectric (substrate) and the buffer layers. The wave velocity ra tio (with respect to free space) is computed for various combinations of material properties. The dependence of the relative wave velocity o n the dielectric constant and thicknesses of the buffer layers is disc ussed.
