C. Gaillard et M. Camps, Characterization of poly(2-propenoyl chloride) by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, POLYMER, 40(17), 1999, pp. 4961-4964
A device to obtain the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of poly(2-p
ropenoyl chloride) (PPC) avoiding any contact with the room moisture is des
cribed. The H-1 and C-13 NMR spectra of PPC in THF-d(8) solution are thus o
btained. The distribution of meso and racemic dyads inferred from the integ
ration of different H-1 NMR signals is: (m) = 0.45 and (r) = 0.55. (C) 1999
