Abstract
The species of the beach-fly genus Isocanace Mathis are reviewed, including the description of two new species: I. crosbyi (New Zealand. South Island. NN: Cable Bay (41 degrees 09.6'S, 173 degrees 24.9'E) and I. freidbergi (K enya. Takaungu (50 km N of Mombasa)). Descriptions for the genus and two sp ecies groups are also revised.
