Abstract
Theorems concerning the existence and stability of travelling-wave solution s to monostable reaction-diffusion systems of mixed monotone type are estab lished. These results are applied to an autocatalytic system, which is a pa rticular case in the class of monostable systems of mixed monotone type. A series of numerical experiments is conducted to simulate formation and prop agation of waves.
