Abstract
In the first cycle of assisted reproduction technique, the fertilization ra te can be used as predictive value for the best option between conventional IVF and ICSI for an eventual subsequent cycle. If ICSI will become the pro cedure of choice for all couples requiring ART will also depend on the safe ty aspects of ICSI in comparison to conventional IVF.
