Abstract
Catalytically active metals Rh-I and Co-0 were used in the preparation of c omplexes of 3-pyridyldiphenylphosphine. The structure of Rh(CO)Cl(3-PyPPh2) (2) was determined by X-ray crystallography. Rh(CO)Cl(3-PyPPh2)(2) crystall izes in the space group P2(1)/n with cell dimensions of a = 1.1677(3) nm, b = 2.3536(7) nm, c = 1.2215(3) nm, beta = 112.13(2)degrees, z = 4, V = 3.10 97(14) nm(3) and R = 0.0405. Characterizations of Co-2(CO)(6)(3-PyPPh2)(2) were based on spectroscopic data and the elemental analysis. Activities of the prepared complexes were tested in hydroformylation reaction of 1-hexene .
