Cg. Feng et al., Travelling waves in an open quadralic autocatalytic chemical system coupled with the quadralic decay reaction, CHEM J CH U, 20(5), 1999, pp. 754-758
Theoretical model of an open quadralic autocatalytic chemical reaction syst
em coupled with the quadratic decay reaction is set up. Through the kinetic
s analysis, the stability of the two stationary states is found. The estima
tion of the solution for the initial-value and bounds problem is establishe
d, and a necessary condition for travelling waves to exist is mu greater th
an or equal to phi The minimum speed of the chemical waves are given, that
is c(min)=2 root delta(mu-phi). The effect of open quadralic decay reaction
on the patterns of the chemical waves is also given. With the increase of
the decay parameter, the quadratic decay reaction become progressively a de
cisive element of wave patterns in the reaction-diffusion system.
