Abstract
The kinetics of 2, 6-di-tert-butylhydroquinone oxidation is studied by spec trophotometry and pressure monitoring in a closed vessel. A kinetic mechani sm of the oxidation reaction is proposed the key step in which is the react ion of phenoxyl radical with oxygen.
