Abstract
Template-synthesized conductive polymer microwires and Au nanowires have be en used as building blocks to self-assemble supramolecular architectures. I n the conductive polymer case, biotin/streptavidin chemistry was used to se lf-assemble latex spheres onto the ends of the conductive polymer microwire s. In the Au case, thiol chemistry was used to self-assemble colloidal Au n anoparticles onto the ends of the Au nanowires.
