Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of amphiphilic copolymers of poly(dimeth yl siloxane)(PDMS), poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO), and heparin(Hep) were invest igated. These multiblock copolymers were identified using H-1-NMR, FTIR, en d group analysis, and sulfur elemental analysis. The multiblock copolymers were characterized by using DSC and X-ray diffractometry. The glass transit ion temperature, crystalline melting characteristics, annealing effect, and cold crystallization of the block copolymers were determined by DSC. The c rystallinity of the block copolymers was also determined by X-ray diffracti on method.
