Abstract
This paper studies the Cauchy problem for some doubly nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations (1.1) with initial data (1.2). Holder continuous soluti ons, with explicit Holder exponents uniformly in [0, T] x R-N for any given time T, are obtained by using the maximum principle.
