This paper describes the application of an Object-Oriented Paradigm (OOP) t
o the implementation of a hyperelastic constitutive e driver. The C++ progr
amming language used in our implementation lends to an efficient and readab
le program. It will be shown that object-oriented implementation naturally
follows from analytical development in isotropic hyperelasticity. Examples
of classes developed and results from a number of large deformation hyperel
astic numerical test are presented.
