The motion of a subsatellite containing a rotor rotating with constant
angular velocity is considered. The subsatellite is tethered 20 a spa
ce shuttle which is moving with constant angular velocity in a central
Newtonian field. Conditions for the existence of relative equilibria
are given and their stability is discussed.
