Shock-boundary layer interaction and the passive ventilation of shocks
has been widely investigated for external flow problems. This concept
is adapted for internal flows using at first the standard cavity cove
red by a porous plate which, for the sake of technical feasibility, is
replaced by thin slits in flow direction. The aim of the present inve
stigation is the numerical simulation of the 3-D flow over and in the
slits. Here the numerical scheme and preliminary results will be prese
nted.
