The structure of a magnetized, collisionless crossed-field coaxial Hall dis
charge is investigated using low-impedance, negatively biased Langmuir prob
es. We present images depicting frequency-position renderings and cross-cor
relation plots, which identify coherent and random fluctuations in plasma d
ensity. These fluctuations are found to depend on the discharge operating c
onditions, and are believed to greatly affect cross-field electron transpor
t.
