Abstract
A new noncoherent CFAR detection algorithm for STAP radar is developed in t his correspondence, which noncoherently integrates a number of coherent, re duced-rank, CFAR tests developed hy the authors in a previuos paper. This n eu noncoherent detection criterion provides a significant improvement in de tection performance sith no need to increase the transmitter power.
