Abstract
In this paper we consider time integration of unified inelastic models. We apply two recently proposed integration schemes. One fully implicit integra tor is based on backward differentiation. The other one is a combined expli cit/semi-implicit Runge-Kutta algorithm of Rosenbrock-type. As an applicati on we consider Hart's inelastic constitutive model in its uniaxial formulat ion. We simulate constant strain rate tension tests and relaxation tests an d draw conclusions. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
