onents. Then displacement components are expressed in the form of double tr
igonometric Fourier series that satisfies the boundary conditions at the en
d. Uniformly distributed load on rectangular areas is considered, which is
again expressed in terms of double trigonometric Fourier series. Expression
s are obtained for displacement components, stress-resultants and stress-co
uples. Numerical results are obtained and plotted for a particular case. (C
