The experimental data of fracture toughness of austenitic stainless steel o
f the type 08X18H10T and their welded joints, produced with the types EA-39
5/9, EA-400/10Y, EA-400/10T and other electrodes in the wide range of tempe
ratures from -180 to +450 degrees C are presented. The obtained generalized
dependences can be used in structural integrity assessments of pipings and
other structure elements on the criterion leak before break. (C) 1999 Publ
