Abstract
The recent distribution of two species of Asterina along the Mediterranean shore of Israel is described. The long-missing starfish, Asterina gibbosa, has recently been found again in Shiqmona on the northern Mediterranean coa st of Israel. A. burtoni, previously not known south of Atlit, was recently found at Mikhmoret.
