Abstract
A collection of 91 specimens of Pauropoda from Israel has been studied. It contains 13 species from 6 genera in 3 families, all new to Israel. Two spe cies new to science, Scleropauropus carmelus in Pauropodidae and Trachypaur opus israelicus in Eurypauropodidae, are described. All the Israeli genera and the main part of the species have very wide distributions.
