Abstract
Opto-ciliary shunts are compensatory bypass channels from the retinal venou s system to the choroidal veins in case of long standing central retinal ve in occlusion. indocyanine green angiography with the Scanning Laser Ophtalm oscope may be helpful to differentiate acquired optociliary shunts from ret inal or choroidal arteriovenous malformations.
