Abstract
Design of a position-sensitive detector based on photodiodes array (PDA) fo r the energy-dispersive EXAFS spectrometer is presented. PDA's detection ch aracteristics were tested in the X-ray spectrometer equipped with focusing crystal. An energy resolution of 2 eV at the CuK alpha emission line was ob tained.
