Abstract
A series of glassy reference standards for X-ray fluorescence analysis of m ulticomponent high-melting oxide materials are prepared and certified. The results of performed studies are presented on an example of a complex Ti-Ba -Nd-Sm oxide. The influence of the oxides fusion temperature and duration o n the content of oxides was investigated as well as the homogeneity of vari ous elements distribution over the sample surface and volume. The prepared samples of standards were found to be homogeneous and stable in time. (C) 1 999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
