Abstract
The sport industry is an extremely diverse industry, including segments suc h as professional sport, intercollegiate athletics, health and fitness, rec reational sport and facility management. The industry is currently experien cing rapid growth and development, and as it grows, sport managers in the d ifferent segments encounter ethical issues which are often unique to each s egment. This article examines the professional sport, intercollegiate athle tics, health and fitness, recreational sport and facility management segmen ts of the sport industry and discusses the various ethical issues facing ma nagers in each of these segments.
