The number of Hispanic students in higher education and in the population o
f the United States is growing. Practitioners in the field of student affai
rs have produced few research studies about this population of students. Th
is study included 372 Hispanic college students from 4 institutions. The re
sults of the study verify the Bicultural Orientation Model as a tool for id
entifying Hispanic college students' cultural orientation. The four cultura
l orientation quadrants are Bicultural Orientation, Angio Orientation, Hisp
anic Orientation, and Marginal Orientation.
