Abstract
The reactions of SnX2 (X = Cl,Br) with tri(n-octyl)phosphine oxide (TO PO) under aerobic conditions yielded the oxidative addition products o f the stoichiometry SnX4 . 2TOPO, as inferred by their mass spectra. T he P-31 NMR and Sn-119 NMR of the products indicated the presence of c is and trans isomers in solution. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
