Abstract
In this paper we characterize linear maps Co between two nest algebras T(N) and T(M) which satisfy the property that phi(AB-BA)= phi(A) phi(B)- phi(B) phi(A) for all A, B epsilon T(N). In particular, it is shown that such iso morphisms only exist if;ir is similar to M or,M-perpendicular to. (C) 1999 Academic Press.
